Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Under direct supervision, performs ante and post mortem inspection and implements measure on meat hygiene and preservation in meat plants; retains suspects for further examinations of condemned carcass, meat and other by products and are safely stored for denaturing or rendering of meat or by-products; calls the attention of the Senior Meat Control Officer II/Meat Control Officer II in cases where observed factors would adversely affect the cleanliness of the meat and edible offals, hygiene of production, efficiency of meat inspection and adequacy of meat preservation; inspects meat in meat markets, butcher shops and other meat outlets; prepares, maintains and submits appropriate reports; and performs other related duties as may be required by the Immediate Supervisor, the Regional Technical Director or Executive Director.
      • Photocopy of the following documents are to be submitted together with the duly completed application form: 1) Transcript of records; 2) Diploma; 3) Certificate of Eligibility.
