The MSQA manages audits of all NMIS accredited MEs including cold storage warehouses. Recently, the cycle of audit schedule was adopted. Auditors are selected following a sequential order and selection of preferred assignment is not allowed. Meat establishments are subjected to four (4) types of audits:

      1. Certification Audit
      2. Renewal Audit
      3. Surveillance Audit every 6 months for HACCP certified MEs
      4. Spot Audit, unannounced audit of all NMIS accredited establishments.
