NMIS Receives ISO PNS 9001:2015 Certification and CSC Bronze Award

The National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) has officially received its ISO PNS 9001:2015 Certification, reaffirming its strong commitment to quality service and organizational excellence. This recognition follows NMIS’s successful Stage 2 Recertification Audit Surveillance held from August 27 to September 1, 2025, where the agency met all international quality management standards. The certificate was formally awarded by W3 Solutionz Training & Assessment Center through Ms. Princess G. Ramos, underscoring NMIS’s dedication to continuous improvement in meat inspection and food safety. This recognition follows NMIS’s successful Stage 2 Recertification Audit Surveillance held from August 27 to September 1, 2025, where the agency met all international quality management standards. In addition, the Civil Service Commission (CSC), through Director Cherry C. Berris, conferred the Bronze Award to NMIS for achieving Maturity Level II in four Human Resource Systems under the enhanced PRIME-HRM: Recruitment, Selection, and Placement; Performance Management; Learning and Development; and Rewards and Recognition. Earlier this year, NMIS was officially recognized for attaining Maturity Level II under the enhanced PRIME-HRM framework—a strategic CSC program that elevates human resource maturity in government institutions. These milestones were celebrated during the opening ceremony of the 32nd Meat Safety Consciousness Week (MSCW) and the 53rd NMIS Anniversary on October 13, 2025, marking a proud moment in NMIS’s continued pursuit of excellence in public service.
