NMIS Unveils Groundbreaking Proposal for Digital Transformation in Meat Transport Vehicle Registration

In a significant move towards embracing digital transformation, the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) presented an innovative concept proposal for the digitization of Meat Transport Vehicle (MTV) management. The presentation took place on March 8, 2024, at the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) in Pasig City. The NMIS team, consisting of Dr. Maria Fatima Amparo, Mr. Ed Gerome Borja, and Dr. Adora Garcia, spearheaded the presentation. Key stakeholders (Institutional partner representatives), including Dr. Vernadette Saninad, the OIC Chief of Meat Import Export Division, together with Dr. Cyrus Michael Dugayo, Sr. MCO and Dr. Isabel SP. Rosales, MCO-I of Accreditation and Registration Division, joined the DAP panel to evaluate and provide insights into the proposed innovation.
