Oathtaking of newly Appointed and Promoted NMIS Employees
Four newly hired Meat Inspectors III and one promoted Administrative Officer II (Budget Officer I) of the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) took their oath yesterday, March 11, 2025, at Training Room A, MITDC Building, Visayas Ave., Quezon City. The program began with Mr. Lamberto B. Dela Cruz Jr., Chief Administrative Officer, who introduced the newly hired and promoted employees: Ms. Maria Consuelo M. Roque, Ms. Marneth Y. Villanueva, Ms. Melissa F. Manansala, Ms. Angelica M. Llanes, and Mr. Eugene Mark S. Taclas.
Three employees previously served the agency as personnel on a Contract of Service basis under the Regional Technical Operational Centers of CAR and SOCCSKSARGEN and Meat Import and Export Division. Ms. Roque, promoted to Administrative Officer II (Budget Officer I), has been with the agency for a decade, demonstrating her commitment and dedication to public service. Dr. Roberto S. Umali, Officer-in-Charge, Executive Director, delivered a message to the newly hired employees, emphasizing the importance of continuous dedication to service. He highlighted the value of hard work and patience, urging them to foster collaboration in the workplace. In the face of challenges, he stressed the importance of working together to address problems. Dr. Umali assured the employees that management would offer guidance and support, emphasizing the importance of listening to ideas from all staff, as valuable insights often come from those on the ground.
