30 NEW EMPLOYEES JOIN NMIS WORKFORCE
Thirty (30) Meat Inspectors (MIO), three (3) Meat Control Officers and one (1) Planning Officer took the official oath of office before the employees of the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) held at SHE Hall on February 6, 2023.
Executive Director Dr. Clarita M. Sangcal congratulated the new employees and asked for their commitment in serving the nation through meat inspection and hygiene for both locally produced and imported meat.

Newly appointed officials of the National Meat Inspection Service, Executive Director III, Dr. Clarita M. Sangcal; Deputy Executive Director III, Dr. Roberto Umali, and ten Regional Technical Directors (RTDs) appointed as Director II: Dr. Angelita E. Barcelona, Dr. Ronnie Ernst A Duque, Dr. Myrna I. Habacon, Dr. Emmanuel A. Leman, Dr. Fernando N. Lontoc, Dr. Eduardo R. Oblena, Dr. Orlando C. Ongsotto, Dr. Lailanie Rose P. Rico, Dr. Jocelyn A. Salvador, and Dr. Maria Ancilla S. Zartiga took oath before Department of Agriculture Senior Undersecretary Domingo F. Panganiban last January 18, 2023.

Two promoted and one newly hired employees of the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) took oath on December 13, 2022 at the DA compound, Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City.
NMIS Welcomes New OIC Executive Director
Dr. Clarita M. Sangcal was designated Officer-in-Charge Executive Director of the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) effective October 24, 2022 by virtue of Special Order No. 873 series of 2022, signed by Department of Agriculture Senior Undersecretary Domingo F. Panganiban.
